Our Engineering team is equipped with the most current 3D modeling software to aid in the design of custom extrusion machinery to suit various applications and customer specifications. We also utilize FEA software combined with Akron Tool & Die’ s flow analysis program to optimize extruder, die, and component performance and quality.
Our engineering resources reach beyond the confines of our department in that we have long developed partnerships with metallurgists, consultants, designers, as well as fabricators, foundries, and tooling specialists. There is no limit to the service we can provide.
